Burger Shop is a challenging yet exciting fast-food production game.

The greatest thing about this program is its enjoyable and highly addictive gameplay. The story begins when, after receiving a mysterious mailing containing the blueprints for a fast-food production machine, you decide to use your life savings to build the BurgerTron 2000, an artificially intelligent robot chef.

The aim of the game is to satisfy a sometimes seemingly endless queue of customers who want to order various items of food and drink from your fast-food restaurant. A good aspect of this game is the initial tutorial, which shows players how to assemble customers' orders. As each customer enters your restaurant and makes an order, you need to click on the necessary ingredients that come out of the BurgerTron 2000 on a conveyor belt. For example, if a customer orders a cheeseburger, you need to click on two bun halves, a burger patty and a slice of cheese as they are produced by the robot chef. The assembled cheeseburger then needs to be delivered to the customer to complete the order.

If the customer is happy with the service and receives the correct order, they pay for the items and may even leave a tip. However, if you are late with their order or deliver an incorrect item, customers can leave without paying. By successfully completing orders, you will earn enough money to not only meet your daily sales targets, but also go up through the rankings. Additionally, by earning money you can go on to open new restaurants.

Another exciting aspect of Burger Shop is that it is not all about making burgers. Restaurant management also comes into play, whereby the more successful you are, the more upgrades you will receive. These upgrades include new machines such as fryers and ice cream makers which will in turn add new items to your menu. This makes gameplay fun and much more challenging as the levels go on. Other upgrades include cookies that can be handed out to customers who are not happy with the wait and a BurgerBot, which is a robotic helper that can assist you in your restaurant when the queues of customers get excessive.

Perhaps the most astounding thing about this simple game is the actual production of it. The graphics are excellent and offer a delightful gaming experience. It can also be quite funny when certain customers, such as clowns, order bizarre things such as burgers with four patties and ice cream with ketchup.

The free version of Burger Shop features 20 different levels in Story Mode and two different restaurants in both Challenge and Relax Mode. The full game allows players to work through 80 levels in Story Mode and then another 80 levels in Expert Story Mode. It also features 8 new restaurants that can be opened, each with a different theme, and offers over 60 upgrades to improve your menu and thereby improve your daily sales total. There are also 96 trophies to collect throughout the game.
